MY WORK

First Love

While writing is my first love, I had to put it aside to earn a regular paycheck. I worked in Corporate America supporting senior-level management for the Big 5, major accounting firms for many years. While doing that, I returned to school on a part-time basis and earned my bachelor’s degree in communications and human development from the Empire State College, New York.

I said, "I am A nun"
Choosing Exellence In The Face Of Adversity

A faith-based love story about a young woman, Rose who had one passion for life – she wanted to be a nun. Rose was wronged and brutally injured after her first year in a convent; her wound had to be placed in a case to heal. While healing, she found a second passion that kept her alive, but that second passion was forbidden. So, she found a confidant to keep her protected from life’s realities until she was healed and ready to step out of her cast and face the world unveiled.

When her cast was removed…Rose found new strength and courage that propelled her to stand face-to-face with the one opponent who had wounded her and kept her suffocated for more than three decades. In that full circle moment, she was set free to claim a new life on her terms with a renewed vision to live out her old passions in disguised ways.

An inspiring love story of how choosing excellence could lift anyone high above the depths of despair to live triumphantly.

Her Father's Sin What Goes Around Comes Around A Karmic Repayment

Every Day Is An International Women’s Day!

Let us keep our eyes on the grandeur of life set before us on this celebrated day. Remembering that the opportunity of seeing a new day means we are blessed with new opportunities, to start over, to forgive, to be forgiven, to love, to celebrate, to grow, to learn, to honor ourselves and others; and, to live our dreams and manifest our desires.
Each day comes with the wisdom needed for that day. There is an old saying, ‘Sleep on it’… and we should. Because we need the wisdom of the new day, with its new perspectives to solve the new issues at hand.
Do not try to solve a ‘new problem’ during an old day…just sleep on it!
And let us keep working on making each day a ‘special day’ for every Woman everywhere!

What they say about my book ?

Julia and Rose have been best friends since childhood, and they shared a dream until Rose lost her focus. I Said, "I Am A Nun": Choosing excellence in the face of adversity is a romantic confession about Rose after she left the convent because she was pregnant. Julia and Rose had been dreaming of being nuns since they were seven. They'd imagine helping others and serving the Lord with their body and soul. They were both happy when they got to join the convent, but after some time, things began happening to Rose until she could no longer become a nun. Rose was just 15 years old when she got pregnant. She felt sad and rejected. People used her as a bad example. She had to stay indoors in her parent's house. To make things worse, she had a painful, uncomfortable, and immature birth. In this book, Julia, who is still a nun, tells this story. She tells this story to Vanessa, an elegant woman in her fifties whom she newly meets. She feels she can trust this woman to lift the burden she has been carrying. Who is Venessa? How does Rose's and Julia's story continue? I Said, "I Am A Nun": Choosing excellence in the face of adversity is written in 5 parts, which consist of 26 chapters and about 170 pages. The author of this book is June A. Ramsay. She put a lot of work into perfecting the story. A reader will have mixed feelings about this story, the beginning is sad because Rose feels she's lost everything, but as we read on, there's joy. We'd have to understand that Rose went through a lot of weakness and pain. Along the way, we uncover the truth of her pregnancy and learn of a new character, Zan, who truly makes her happy. According to her, their souls connect. Sadly, her great joy does not come without complications. Retrospectively, we can't blame the characters for some of their actions. They were only acting in the continuum of the mistakes they had made. This book contains an adulterous romance. Focusing on accuracy, I Said, "I Am A Nun": Choosing excellence in the face of adversity is professionally edited. There were a few grammatical errors. Happily, the errors do not disturb the flow of the story. I rate this book five out of five stars. I learned two primary things from this book. Firstly, we must focus on our goals unless we may end up incomplete. Secondly, we should learn to put ourselves first so we do not damage others. I recommend this book to emotionally-drained individuals, nuns, and lovers of tragedies.

Jacqueline Ramesar "I Said I Am A Nun"

I said I Am A Nun will give readers the motivation and courage to get through some of the difficult situations we face every day. The author provides her readers a road map to follow, when trying to visualize the light at the end of the tunnel. The story seen through the eyes of the main character, Rose, will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride as the author

Hi June, I am truly passionate about books; reading is my favorite thing to do without a doubt. It usually takes me to places that I have never imagined and almost always broadens my mind in ways that enhance my thoughts and believes. Your book did that! Although, I am a practicing Catholic and am blessed with a very strong faith I have never met anyone who has wanted to be a nun, therefore, found this book intriguing. I wanted to post my feedback on Amazon, but I'm not sure if it's because your book is not yet available there, every time I tried it rejected. I did not try posting on B&N as I do not have an account with them. I am enclosing my comment for your review, or in case you would like to post it yourself. Regards, Susan

I enjoyed this book tremendously! It was fantastic! Rose kept me wanting to read on and on, she is full of love and an amazing woman. Only a few nights ago after settling down from a long day I felt like I wanted to snuggle up in bed with a good read. I thought about what it would be and "I said, I am a Nun" my second read. I am looking forward to your next book. A big thank you June.
